Naturfrisk Lemonade is tart, sweet and refreshing. It contains various combinations of organic lemons sweetened with organic cane sugar. It is delicately tart, yet also sweet and not nearly as bitter as our Naturfrisk Bitter Lemon, for example. It is a perfect thirst-quencher on a hot dag.

Motif: For our Naturfrisk Lemonade motif we chose a large blue (Maculinea arion), one of the rarest butterflies in Denmark. Today, it is only found on the island of Møn, and maybe in North Jutland and North Zealand too. This small, delicate, shiny, blue butterfly measures 35-40 mm and lives on nectar from herbs and flowers, usually found on heaths, dunes and dry pasture with low vegetation. Their habitat also requires Myrmica Sabuleti, a particular species of ant. The larvae of the large blue butterfly spend 10 months in the ants’ nest, feeding on any larvae.
