Motif: The Naturfrisk Mint motif features the Roman snail (helix pomatia). The Roman snail is one of the biggest snails in Denmark. Denmark’s population of this large snail is the result of releasing the species into the wild, and the snails are found mainly in East Jutland and East Denmark. It thrives best in shady environments: for example, in scrub and gardens. It is also farmed for gastronomic use and is regarded as a delicacy. The Roman snail can live for up to 6-8 years – maybe even longer.
