Motif: The white stork (ciconia ciconia) may be famous for delivering babies, but when it comes to our Naturfrisk Orange, it delivers an abundance of ripe oranges. In 1900, there were around 4,000 white stork pairs in Denmark. However, since then the population has declined severely. In 2016, only two breeding pairs were registered in Denmark. But things looked up in 2020. Seven breeding pairs were registered. The white stork needs to nest in areas surrounded by extensive grassy meadows, waterholes and shallow wetlands, where it can find food.
